  • Pineapple – ½ cup
  • Apple – ½ cup
  • Mango – ½ cup
  • Orange – ½ cup
  • Banana – ½ cup
  • Sapota / Chikoo – ½ cup
  • Kiwi – ½ cup
  • Papaya – ½ cup
  • Watermelon – ½ cup
  • Cantaloupe – ½ cup
  • Raspberries – ½ cup
  • Blackberries – ½ cup
  • Strawberries – ½ cup
  • Blueberries – ½ cup
  • Grapes – ½ cup
  • Honeydew – ½ cup
  • Pomegranate Seeds – ¼ cup
  • Lettuce leaves– 1/4th of large bunch
  • Fresh Mint Leaves – 1 tbsp. (finely chopped)
  • Cashew – ¼ cup
  • Almonds – ¼ cup (use carnival almonds)
  • Walnuts – ¼ cup
  • Lemon Juice – ¼ tsp.
  • Orange Juice – ½ tbsp.
  • Apple Juice – ½ tbsp.
  • Olive Oil – ¼ tsp.
  • Honey – ¼ tbsp.
  • Vinegar – ½ tbsp.
  • Black Pepper – less than ½ tsp.
  • Salt – as per taste

Note: You can add or skip any fruit and dry fruit of your choice. Orange and Apple Juice is optional. Buy olive oil from here.

These fruits make one large bowl of fruit salad, but if you want to you can use either one or combination of two or more fruits for your salad. If using few fruits, then choose the large size fruit and increase the proportion.

Fruit Salad Recipe Steps:

Before you could start with the preparation of fruit salad, it is very important that you have fresh and ripe fruits. Follow the steps, clean and chop the fruits properly to make the fruit salad.

Pre-Preparation:

  • Wash, Rinse and Chop all the fruits into small equal sized pieces.
  • Roast the cashews, almonds, walnuts and any other dry fruits. You roast them in oven or non-stick pan.
  • Wash the lettuce with fresh water and steam well for 10 minutes. Soak in the cool water for 2 minutes. Remove the exterior leaves from the head.

Preparation:

  • In a large bowl, combine all the chopped fruits.
  • Then squeeze lemon juice over it.
  • Stir in the honey for the extra sweetness.
  • Pour the orange juice and the apple juice over the fruits.
  • Fold the fruits and coat them with juice for extra flavours.
  • Drizzle the mixture with the Olive Oil and Vinegar.
  • Sprinkle sea salt and pepper with a pinch of hand and give a toss.
  • Combine the ingredients properly and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  • Take the salad bowl or plate, spread the lettuce leaves.
  • Transfer the fruit mixture to the salad bowl over the lettuce leaf.
  • Add the roasted dry fruits on the top of the salad.

And the highly nutritious fruit salad is ready to be served.

Note: The fruit salad has to be served immediately. If you are serving fruit salad after some time, then it may lose its charm.
