Chilli Garlic Noodles Recipe : Exotic and Spicy Chinese!

Are you a garlic lover and a noodle lover too?? Here is a dish for you which fulfills the demand of your taste buds. This chilli garlic noodles are spicy too. This dish is spiced up with garlic,dry red chillies and chilli sauce. The spiciness of the dish can be adjusted according to your taste.

Description: Here I have added vegetables also in the noodles. Again the type of veggies to be used depends on your choice. Red chilli paste can also be used to make noodles spicy. This recipe is quick and easy to make. This chilli garlic noodles can be served as a main dish. Follow the steps and your favorite chilli garlic noodles are ready.

Chilli Garlic Noodles Recipe

Ingredients for Chilli Garlic Noodles Recipe :

  • Noodles – 150 gms
  • Water – 4 cups
  • Oil – 3 tbsp
  • Dry red chillies – 2-3 pieces
  • Spring onions – ¼ cup
  • Cabbage – ¼ cup
  • Carrot – ¼ cup
  • Capsicum – ¼ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Garlic chopped – 1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar – ½ tsp
  • Red chilli sauce – 1 tsp.

Method for Making Chilli Garlic Noodles Recipe :

Pre-preparation

  • Chop all vegetables.
  • Break and remove the seeds from dry red chillies.
  • Chop garlic also in fine pieces.

Preparation:-

  • Heat water in a pan or in a wok.
  • When water is boiled add noodles in it.
  • Cook the noodles according to the instructions on the pack or until the noodles are completely cooked.
  • Now strain in a strainer and rinse with water. Rinsing the noodles with water stops the process of cooking and thus it prevents overcooking of noodles. Keep it aside.
  • Now heat oil in a wok or in a pan.
  • When oil gets hot add garlic and dry red chillies. Fry for few seconds.
  • Now add onion and other veggies also. Fry until the veggies are cooked or onions become translucent.
  • Now add soy sauce, red chilli sauce and vinegar. Mix well.
  • Now add salt.
  • Now ads boiled noodles. Mix and stir well the noodles so that the sauces get coated on them. Keep the flame on medium.
  • Fry for few minutes. Switch off the flame. Noodles are ready.

  • Total time of cooking is 25 minutes.
  • Serves 3 people.
  • The amount of sauces can be adjusted according to your taste.
  • While adding salt keep in mind that sauce also have salt in it.
  • The amount of red chilli can also be adjusted accordingly.
  • You can add black pepper powder also.
  • If spring onion is not available normal red onion can also be used.
  • Addition of all veggies can also be omitted.
