Chips are not only eaten alone but as a side dish with sandwiches. The combo of chips and sandwich is famous. So if you are planning to make sandwiches you can prepare this chips a day or two before and store in an airtight container.
The preparation requires some hard work and time too to make the chips when you are free of your daily routine household chores. You can make a vrat version of this dish by adding rock salt/ sendha namak instead of the normal one. Thus the chips for fast are also ready.

- You can also bake this chips in a microwave. The steps are same up to step 9. After that take a microwave safe tray. Arrange a layer of paper napkins. Arrange the slices of potato same as above. Now put the tray in microwave and cook for 3 minutes in high power. Now flip the chips and cook for 2 minutes on 60% power. Check if crispy or not. If not then cook for some more time accordingly.
