Ingredients for Making Corn Sandwich Recipe:

  • Sweet Corns – 2 (medium)
  • Bread – 8 slices.
  • Oil – 2 tsp. (Use Saffola Oil)
  • Green Chili (chopped) – 1
  • Ginger Paste – 1 tsp.
  • Black Pepper Powder – ½ tsp.
  • Sugar – 1/2 tsp.
  • Lemon Juice – 1 tsp.
  • Green Chutney – ½ cup
  • Butter – 1 tbsp.

Note: You may use basil leaves or the lettuce to spread between the sliced of breads.

You can use whisked cream, white sauce or mayonnaise to spread between the slices of bread.

Method of Making Corn Sandwich Recipe:

If you already have boiled corn, then directly start making the sandwich. But if you don’t the fresh corns, then you have to boil them before you could use them.

Pre-Preparation:

Note: You can also steam the corn kernel. Whichever you cook the corns, wait till they become tender.

Preparation:

  • Take a non-stick fry pan and heat oil in the pan on medium heat.
  • Add green chili and ginger paste in it and sauté it for a minute or so.
  • Add grated corn and corn kernels into the pan.
  • Sprinkle Salt and Black pepper and mix well.
  • As the mixture becomes dry, add some sugar and lemon juice.
  • Now, transfer the mixture into a bowl and keep it aside.
  • Take bread and remove the sides.
  • Now spread butter on 4 breads and spread green chutney on other 4.
  • Spread corn mixture on one side of the bread and place other slice over it.
  • Now Toast it in a sandwich toaster.
  • Cut it into Triangles, Rectangles or 4 squares.

And the sweet corn sandwich is ready. Serve it HOT!

Note: You may also separately toast bread before and then spread filling. You can cut and remove the edges of the bread.
