Paneer Manchurian Recipe

Paneer Manchurian Recipe Ingredients:

For Manchurian:

  • Paneer – 300 gms
  • Corn flour – 4tbsp
  • All-purpose flour (Maida) – 2 tbsp.
  • Garlic Paste – ½ tbsp.
  • Ginger Paste – ½ tbsp.
  • Water – ¼ cup.
  • Salt – As per taste.

For Sauté:

  • Green Chilli (Finely Chopped) – 1 piece
  • Onion (Finely Chopped) – 1 piece
  • Spring Onion (Finely Chopped) – ½ cup
  • Garlic Paste – ½ tbsp.
  • Ginger Paste – ½ tbsp.
  • Capsicum (Finely Chopped) – ½ cup
  • Soy Sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Chilli Sauce – ½ tbsp.
  • Cooking Oil
  • Tomato Ketchup – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – As per taste.

Note: You can vary the quantity of Chilli sauce and Soy Sauce depending on the type of taste you like. If you want a spicy taste, add more chili sauce. But if you like a more savory taste then add more Soy Sauce.

Paneer Manchurian Recipe Steps:

Preparation of Paneer Manchurian:

  • Cut Paneer into small cubes.
  • Mix all-purpose flour (maida), corn flour and salt.
  • Add ¼ cup of water in the bowl
  • Mix garlic paste and ginger paste in the bowl.
  • Now add Paneer cubes in the prepared batter and keep aside them for around 20 minutes.
  • Take a pan and prepare for frying. As soon as oil is hot enough to fry, add the coated paneer cubes in the pan and fry until they become golden brown in color.
  • Prepare a Plate with absorbent kitchen paper to remove excess oil from the cubes.
  • As your cubes turn golden brown, transfer them to the plate and keep them for a minute.

For Making Sauté:

  • Take a pan and heat 2-3 tbsp oil. Now add ginger and garlic paste and chopped onion and sauté for 30 seconds in medium flame.
  • Add chopped green chilies, capsicum, and spring onion and sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Add tomato ketchup, chili sauce and Soy sauce. Mix it well and cook for 1 minute on high flame.
  • Toss them so that everything is mixed properly.

  • If Paneer is not available, then you can make Paneer at Home.
  • You can make this recipe using Tofu.
  • The Batter you prepare for coating paneer must not be too thick or too thin. Otherwise the outer layer of Paneer Manchurians will not be Crispy.
  • You can make it tangier by adding more tomato ketchup.
  • You may also add celery for the extra flavors.
