Guava Juice Recipe

Guava Juice Recipe Ingredients:

  • Fresh Guavas – 3 cups
  • Ginger – ¼ tsp.
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp.
  • Red Chili Powder – ¼ tsp.
  • Lime Juice – ¼ tsp.
  • Filtered Water –2 cups
  • Fresh Mint Leaves – ¼ tsp.
  • Ice Cubes – ¼ cup

Note: Use chilled water for the best results. It is optional to use ginger. Select the pink/red guavas.

Guava Juice Recipe Steps:

Pre-Preparation:

  • Wash, Rinse, and Clean the Guava. Peel off their skin and chop.
  • Guava Paste: Take a large blender or mixer and add the chopped guavas.
  • Guava Pulp: Add the chilled water and blend the guava paste to make a smooth guava pulp.

Note: Chop the guava in small pieces. If you do not have large blender, then use small blender. Blend guava in batches.

Preparation:

  • Take a large bowl, and line it up with a strainer of equal size.
  • Pour the guava pulp through this strainer over the bowl.
  • Stir the pulp with a spoon to collect the smooth pulp extracted.
  • The pulp in the bowl will not have seeds
  • Once again, add the chilled water and give a stir.
  • The more water you add, the thinner the guava juice becomes.
  • Season with red chili powder, salt and mint leaves.
  • Squeeze the lemon or add the lime juice and stir again.
  • Add sugar and stir till it completely dissolves.
  • At this point, if you are using ginger then blend and add.
  • You can also use natural sweetener for enhancing the flavors.
  • Now take a cocktail shaker and transfer this mixture along with 2-3 ice cubes.
  • Shake well for some time.
  • Pour the juice in glasses topped with an ice cube.

Stir, Serve with a Straw!

Note: Cover the strainer with a muslin cloth to get rid off from the seeds.
