How to Make Lassi Recipe

Lassi Recipe Ingredients:

  • Thick Yogurt/ Yogurt – 2 cups
  • Milk – 1 cup.
  • Rose Water – ¼ tsp.
  • Saffron Strands – ¼ tsp.
  • Cardamom Powder – 1 tsp.
  • Chilled Water – 1  cup
  • Sugar – 12 tbsp.
  • Ice Cubes – 1 cup (7 to 8 ice cubes)
  • Pistachios – ¼ cup (4 to 5 pieces)
  • Almonds – ¼ cup
  • Walnuts – ¼ cup
  • Red Cherries – ½ tsp.
  • Green Cherries – ½ tsp.

Note: You can also use either of coriander leaves or mint leaves.

Lassi Recipe Steps:

Pre-Preparation:

  • Chill the yogurt.
  • Chop the dry fruits.

Note: There is no need to refrigerate the yogurt if it is already chilled. Same manner, you can use directly take out ice cubes from the fridge for use.

Preparation:

  • Take the yogurt in a bowl and whisk at a medium pace.
  • Beat the yogurt till it achieves a smooth texture.
  • To this bowl, add the sugar at the slow increments while you whisk.
  • Then add the chilled water with some chilled milk.
  • Now churn the Lassi mixture to create the foamy texture.
  • All the sugar must dissolve while you are churning.
  • When you see a nice froth layer formed on the top, sprinkle the cardamom powder.
  • Drizzle the rose water into the mixture.
  • Add the ice cubes and mix the entire mixture once again.
  • Blend the ingredients with a whisk.
  • Pour the Lassi in a large glass.
  • Season the top with mint leaves.
  • Cover the glass and keep the Lassi in the fridge to cool.

And the chilled sweet Lassi is ready for a summer stroke sip!

Note: You may also serve the sweet Lassi immediately.

  • The sweet Lassi Recipe requires only 5 minutes to prepare.
  • The mentioned proportion of ingredients serves 2 people, but you can adjust the quantity for a high number of servings.
  • Check the yogurt before using if it’s not sour. You can also use homemade Curd to be safe.
  • For the immediate serving, it is preferable to use more ice cubes and chilled water.
